My name is Angela and I am a registered dietitian, wife, and mom of two fabulous boys. I am hungry for many things: nutritious food that tastes great, being physically active, mindful eating, daily balance, and working hard to inspire and motivate others to live their best life.
My professional work experience focuses on weight management and diabetes management for which I have a demonstrated record of success. Balance is key to optimal health and living a life that is healthy and happy.
Family, friends, and clients often report to me that they are inspired and motivated by hearing my own struggles with weight loss and maintenance. I have lost 95 pounds since 2013. I still struggle to lose the remaining 30 pounds to get to my goal but by being mindful of the choices I make daily and being accountable for my decisions, I have managed to keep off the weight that I worked hard to lose. One day at a time, one meal at a time — this is my motto.
At my website you will find recipes, nutrition education, basics of physical activity, healthy lifestyle tips, and hopefully plenty of inspiration from my own experience both personally and professionally. You will most likely find me working at the same things you work at: trying to figure out meals, lunches for the kids, and what to add to my shopping list.
