Pamper Your Valentine With a Little Decadence

Did you happen to see my Facebook and Instagram posts teasing what I was going to make with silken tofu, coffee, dark chocolate chips, honey, and vanilla? Well here goes; it is a chocolate pie that will knock your Valentine’s socks off!  Pamper them with this tempting and delicious dessert and they will never know that you have hidden nutritious tofu and other fabulous ingredients in there. You can feel good about treating them! 

We don’t go all out for Valentine’s Day at the Hungry Household. I’ll buy the kids and the hubs a cute card and make a yummy dessert and that’s usually the extent of it. We are typically running from one errand to another or taking the kids here and there. We prefer to keep things simple. But they will feel you went all out on this fantastic dessert! It is best to slice this pie in 10 slices rather than 8 as it is nutrient and calorie dense. Moreover, it offers a rich flavor profile and doesn’t take much to satisfy.

Chocolaty Valentine's Pie
Your Valentine will never guess that you've concocted this velvety decadence from nutritious ingredients. They will be too busy enjoying the chocolaty happiness that overcomes their palette as they devour a slice of this pie. Happy Valentine's Day!

Instructions
  1. Using a double boiler, melt both semi-sweet and dark chocolate chips, stirring frequently.
  2. Add coffee and vanilla to chocolate mixture and stir well.
  3. In a food processor, or blender, combine the melted chocolate mixture, tofu, and honey. Process until smooth and well blended.
  4. Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust and refrigerate for 2 hours or until the filling is set.
